NATCHEZ — Services for E. J. Forman, 79, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018 in Jackson, will be 3 p.m. today at Parkway Baptist Church with the Rev. Raj Behara officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until service time today at the church.
Mr. Forman was born Jan. 24, 1939 in Rosetta, the son of Robert Van Forman and Lydie Leona Sturdivant Forman.
He was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and a faithful servant of the Lord. He loved God’s Church, family and his country. He was employed as a maintenance supervisor for 42 years by International Paper Company. He was very devoted to his wife and children. He also loved to fish and help widows, which was his calling from God.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Darrell James Forman; two brothers, Lloyd Forman and Everett Forman; and four sisters, Madelle Vines, Lanel Havard, Annie Mae Murray and Doris Foreman.
Survivors include his wife, Lynnda C. Forman; one son, Randy Forman; daughter-in-law, Terrell Forman; three grandchildren, Brett Forman, Kathleen Forman and Meredith Forman; sister-in-law, Rhonda C. Orso; and brother-in-law, John Kelly Orso; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ken Huff, Gene Williams, Wayne Rabb, Irby Campbell, Mark Jarrell and Melvin Murray.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
