FERRIDAY — Services for Bobby Earl Allred, 72, of Vidalia, who died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018, at his residence, were noon Saturday at Miss-Lou Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Gary Howington and the Rev. Jeremy Howington officiating.
Burial followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.
Visitation was from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Allred was born Jan. 4, 1946, in Meadville, the son of William Hosea Allred and Lillie Allred.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ronnie Gayle Stevens Allred; his parents; one brother, Clyde E. Allred; and three sisters, Myrtle Allred Holland, Maggie Allred Holland and Pearl Allred Holland.
Survivors include one son, Brian E. Allred and wife, Barbara, of Vidalia; two daughters, Tonya Peavy and husband, Shawn, of Stuttgrat, Ark., and Joy DeSoto and husband, Steven, of Warren, Ark.; one brother, Hollis Allred and wife, Frances; one sister, Kathryn Allred Seals and husband, Francis, all f Natchez; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and his first wife, Maryln Joyce Freeman Allred of Natchez.
The family extends thanks to a very special caregiver, Bertha King, and to Penny, Wanda and the staff at Encompass.
