NATCHEZ — Services for Shirley Jean Stampley Scott, 69, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018, in Jackson, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Marshall Funeral Home Natchez Chapel.
Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.           
Visitation will be from noon until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Scott was born Oct. 31, 1948, in Pascagoula, the daughter of Leslie A. Stampley and Marquittie Stampley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Earl Scott; one brother, Charlie A. Stampley; and one sister, Rita A. Collier.
Survivors include two daughters, Gail Scott and Kay Scott; one granddaughter, Rachal Case; three brothers, Paul Stampley, Randy Stampley and Stanley Earl Stampley; two aunts, Betty and Mazie; two sisters-in-law, Sandra Stampley and Etta Porterpan; one brother-in-law, Mike Collier; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
