PLEASANT HILL — A Cannonsburg man died in a one-vehicle crash on Hwy. 28 in Copiah County Monday morning.

Henry Lee Foster Jr., 37, was killed at the scene, said Cpl. Kervin Stewart with the Mississippi Highway Patrol.

Stewart said the crash occurred just after 7 a.m. on Hwy. 28 just east of the Pleasant Hill Community. Preliminary reports indicate a Ford F-250 pulling a Honda Accord on a trailer was traveling westbound, left the roadway and collided with a tree on the westbound shoulder.

Three other people, all from Atlanta, Georgia, were occupants in the truck. Two of those were taken to University of Mississippi Medical Center for their injuries, Stewart said.

The collision remains under investigation by the MHP.
