FERRIDAY — Memorial services for Judy Kathleen Cooper, 72, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018, at Lake Concordia, will be 4 p.m. Friday at Young’s Funeral Home’s Ferriday Chapel.

Ms. Cooper was born June 17, 1946, in Monroe, La., the daughter of Garry King and Nelwyn Langheld King.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother-in-law, Steve Smith; and one niece, Stephanie Smith Scesney.

Survivors include two sons, David Cooper and wife, Phyllis, of Lake Concordia, and Garry Cooper of Ferriday; one grandson, Jimmy Cooper and wife, Jessica, of Tampa; one granddaughter, Brittany Cupit and husband, Kameron, of Ferriday; three great-grandons, Sean Cupit, Liam Cupit and Eli Cupit; one brother, James King and wife, Peggy, of Ferriday; one sister, Linda Smith of Midlothian, Texas; four step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; two step-great-great-grandchildren; and a number of family members.
