CROSBY — Services for Viola Owens “Hun” Granger, 80, of Crosby, who died Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center in Baton Rouge, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Union Baptist Church in Perrytown with the Rev. Earnest Ford officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home’s Natchez chapel and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Granger was born July 19, 1938, in Wilkinson County, the daughter of Enoch and Martha Owens.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Mary H. Owens, Marie Smith and Jeanette Griffin.
Survivors include two sons, Rickey Granger and Tyrone Granger; four daughters, Pamela Henley, Flora “Rena” Granger, Sheila Malone and Maria Granger; one sister, Betty J. Smith; three brothers, James Norman, Jerry Owens and Calvin Owens; one aunt, Rosie M. Granger; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
