NATCHEZ — Services for Alma Doss, 101, who died Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Glenburney Nursing Home in Natchez, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at A.C. Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, 112 E. Franklin St., with the Rev. Justin L. Conner Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of A.C. Curtis Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Doss was born Oct. 30, 1916, in Knoxville, the daughter of Semo and Willie Gee White.
She was a Baptist and attended the Shiloh Baptist Church where she was the oldest member of the church.
Doss also served on the Mother’s Board and was a devoted Sunday school scholar.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Doss; and her siblings.
Survivors include two special nieces, Earnestine Bates and Joyce Ann Williams; a number of nieces, nephews and other family members; and her church family.
Pallbearers will be family members.
