Arrow Disposal Service Inc., Natchez’s waste collection provider, observed the Fourth of July holiday Wednesday giving employees the day off, city officials said.

As a result, garbage collection services were pushed back one day from normal operations for the remainder of the week.

Routes that would be collected on Wednesday were collected Thursday.

Regular Thursday routes were collected Friday, and regular Friday routes will be collected Saturday.

Normal schedules will resume Monday.
