LORMAN — Services for Alphonse L. Weston, 78, of Lorman, who died Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Claiborne County Medical Center, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Waterloo Baptist Church in Lorman with the Rev. Robert Robbins officiating.     
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Weston was born Feb. 7, 1940, in Lorman, the son of Joshua Alfred Weston Sr. and Esther Willie Smith Weston.
Weston was preceded in death by his parents; one great-grandson, Delvon Weston Jr.; seven siblings, Sarah L. Johnson, Allen D. Weston, Daniel A. Weston, Isaac M. Weston, Gerdia L. Holloway, Joshua A. Weston Jr. and Johnnie R. Weston.
Survivors include a loving daughter, Valerie W. Davis; two sons, Rayford Weston and Allen T. Weston; his wife, Gladys Weston; one stepdaughter, Stacy Theus; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
