FERRIDAY — Services for Melissa “TuTu” Henderson, 49, of Monroe, La., formerly of Ferriday, who died Sunday, June 10, 2018, in St. Louis, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Greater St. Reed Baptist Church with the Rev. Justin Conner officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Henderson was born Aug. 21, 1968, in Ferriday, the daughter of Wilbert Henderson Sr. and Alberta Harris Henderson.

She was preceded in death by her father; four brothers, Howard Henderson, Wilbert Henderson Jr., Willie Henderson Sr. and John Henderson; and two sisters, Ruby Brown and Dorothy Hutton.

Survivors include her mother; four brothers, Buster Henderson, Lloyd Henderson, Frank Henderson, all of Ferriday, and Claude Henderson of Seattle; three sisters, Missie Melancon, Margie Thomas and husband, Jackie, and Elizabeth Henderson, all of Ferriday, and Dr. Vonsha Henderson of Baton Rouge; two aunts, Ernestine Harris of Ferriday and Betty Harris of Gary, Ind.; one uncle, Enoch Harris of Saginaw, Mich.; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
