NATCHEZ — Services for Ella “Mom Moo” Hall, 97, of Chicago, who died Tuesday, June 5, 2018, in Chicago, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. George Bede Ajuruchi officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Ms. Hall was born July 11, 1920, in Natchez, the daughter of Richard Hall and Fannie Reamus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Charles Groom and daughter-in-law, Mamie; four sisters, Margaret Leach, Lettie Lewis, Marguerite Davis and Annie Powell; and one brother, Richard Hall.
Survivors include one son, Miller Mock; four granddaughters, Patrice Groom and husband, Leon, Nanette Mock, Krystal Groom and Valarie Albert; two grandsons, Patrick Groom and Christopher Groom; two nephews, Albert Parker and Willie Lewis and wife, Jessie; one niece, Fannie Campbell; 14 great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Pearl Groom; special friend, Doris Waller and her children, Ricki, Roane and Donna; and a number of great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
