NATCHEZ — Services for Katye Mae Fitzgerald Dukes, 89, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at New Zion Baptist Church No. 1 with the Rev. Ernest Ford officiating.      

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home’s Natchez chapel and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Dukes was born Jan. 12, 1929, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Robert and Matilda Fitzgerald.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Reese Dukes Jr.; and two brothers, Monroe “John” Fitzgerald and Johnnie F. Johnson.

Survivors include one daughter, Charlis Renee Dukes; one son, Robert Charles Dukes; one granddaughter, Drusilla Renee Dukes; two godchildren, Althea Brown and husband, Bruce, and Elliston Fitzgerald; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
