Sue O. LaMond

NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Sue Owings LaMond, 90, of Natchez, who died Friday, June 1, 2018, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Natchez City Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. LaMond was born in Natchez, Aug. 1, 1927 to Harry Preston and Susie Stanley Owings. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, a retired executive secretary, past member of the Natchez Garden Club, the Musical Arts League and Desk and Derrick Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. LaMond.

Survivors include her son, William Thomas LaMond of Natchez; Susan L, Boyd of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Linda L. Day and husband, Greg, of Brookhaven; grandchildren Dean Day and wife Heather, Anna D Douchard and husband, Brett and Abby L. Nations, all of Brookhaven, Amanda B. Simmons and husband, Josh, of Edmond, Oklahoma, Britton Boyd and wife, Pam, of Pullman, Washington; six great-grandchildren: Jackson Day, Dylan Day, Presley Day, Piper Douchard, all of Brookhaven, and Meredith Simmons and Connor Simmons of Edmond, Oklahoma.
