FAYETTE — Services for Franklin D. Rankin, 69, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Taylor’s Chapel Baptist Church in Fayette with the Rev. Antoine Eakins officiating.   

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Lavera Woods Rankin; two daughters; six sons; four sisters; eight brothers; 18 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be his sons.
