OAKLAND, Miss. (AP) — Authorities have found the body of a north Mississippi man who apparently drowned while boating Saturday night.
Yalobusha County Sheriff Lance Humphreys said the body of 42-year-old Ismael Alvarez of Teasdale was found Tuesday after a four-day search.
Alvarez was swimming between two boats on Enid Lake when he drowned.
Humphreys says Alvarez was found about 100 yards from the lake’s dam.
His body has been sent to the state Crime Lab in Pearl for an autopsy.
Friends say Alvarez was a father of four who worked on a ranch.
