NATCHEZ — Services for Rosie Lee White Johnson, 90, of Natchez, who died Saturday, May 19. 2018, in Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Ms. Johnson was born Oct. 5, 1927, in Cannonsburg, the daughter of Edgar White and Elizabeth Montgomery.
She was a homemaker. She spent most of her time in quiet reflections and prayer and meditation.
Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Edward Smith, David White, Roosevelt White, Edgar White and Alex White; and two sisters, Lillie Dee White Barnes and Louise Griffin.
Survivors include two sons, Clyde Omowale and John Richard Johnson; three daughters, Alma Johnson-Hawkins and husband, the Rev. Cavalair Hawkins, Narcissa Johnson-Felix and husband, John, and Theresa Johnson; one sister, LouVerna Minor; seven grandchildren, Jason felix, Kiana Felix, Adrian Marshall, Cory Johnson, Rose Johnson, Taylor Johnson and Malcolm Johnson; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
