FERRIDAY — Funeral services for Ms. Miley King, 69, of Ferriday, La., formerly of Waterproof, La., who died May 14, 2018, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church in Waterproof with Rev. Frank Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the Good Samaritan Cemetery in Waterproof under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Visitation will be held Tuesday morning 10 a.m. until service time at the church.

Ms. King, daughter of Johnny and Frances Jones King, was born in Waterproof and died at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday.

She is survived by one son, Tyrone King and his wife, Monique, of Powder Springs, Ga.; three daughters, Joyce King of Duluth, Ga.; Tracy King of Hampton, Ga.; Bernita Brussard and her husband, Daniel, of Las Vegas, Nev.; two brothers, Leroy King and his wife, Mary, of Waterproof; Charles King and his wife, Vanessa, of Ferriday; three sisters, Lula Barr of Dillan, S.C.; Dorothy Lee of Lithonia, Ga.; JoAnn King of Ferriday; four grandchildren, Veronica King of Atlanta, Ga.; Jessica Maddux and her husband, Robert, of Hampton, Ga.; Cobey King of Jonesboro, Ga.; Tobias Chisholm of Gainesville, Fla.; nine great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and her friends and staff at the Heritage Manor Health & Rehab in Ferriday.
