BOGUE CHITTO — Services for Bennie Louise Blakeney, 72, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Aston Court Retirement Community in McComb, will be 10 a.m. today at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto with the Rev. Floyd Hickinbottom officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Blakeney was born May 2, 1946, in Brookhaven, the daughter of Bennie Weames Hall and Mildred Louise Moak Hall.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick Robert Blakeney and her parents.

Survivors include two sons, Kevin Hall and wife, Kesha, of Monterey, and Ira Eugene Hall and wife, Jennifer, of McComb; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Buckles and husband, Taylor, Ashley Hall, Heather Hall, Braxton Hall, Fisher Hall, Jenson Fortenberry and Hazelee Hall; one great-grandson, Mason Martin; her best friend, Billie Ruth Lofton; and a number of other family and friends.
