NATCHEZ — A second man faces a charge of murder in the death of Natchez resident Cedric Anderson.
James T. Turner, 41, turned himself in to police Tuesday and received a $500,000 bond Wednesday evening in connection to the killing, Natchez Police Chief Walter Armstrong said.
Armstrong would not go into detail about Turner’s alleged involvement in Anderson’s death.
“We want to make sure all parties involved are held accountable,” Armstrong said.
Police are still interviewing witnesses of the killing that occurred early morning April 27 near the intersection of Breham Avenue and Minor Street, where police said they found Anderson dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
Turner handed himself into authorities after days police searching for him, Armstrong said.
“We had been looking for him high and low,” Armstrong said.
The police chief also urged anyone with information pertaining to this case to call Natchez police.
“We want justice for Cedric Anderson,” Armstrong said.
