Come get some crawfish at Cathedral

Spring has arrived and crawfish are in season. That can only mean one thing: Cathedral’s Crawfish Countdown.
This weekend Cathedral School will host the 34th Annual Crawfish Countdown.
Join us from 6-10 p.m. Friday in the Cathedral School cafeteria.
We will be serving all the fresh, boiled crawfish and trimmings you can eat, along with Ms. Henrietta’s hot jambalaya and home-made desserts, in addition to the mouth-watering food and a chance to win the $5,000 grand prize.
Tickets are $100, which covers two people for a night of food, ice-cold beverages and a chance to win $5,000. Second-chance insurance is available for an additional $30, which allows your ticket, if drawn within the first 100 tickets, to be placed back in the drawing for a second chance at the grand prize of $5,000. FYI: The door prizes this year are fabulous.
Takeout orders also will be available the night of Crawfish Countdown between 6-7 p.m.
Take-out orders are $35 per person and include “crawfish and trimmings” only. Orders will be prepared and packaged at the time of the order.
So y’all grab your friends and join us for the 34th Annual Crawfish Countdown from 6-10 p.m. Friday.
A polite reminder, you must be at least 21 years of age to attend this event, and you don’t have to be present to win.
Tickets can be purchased at the door the night of the event, any school office or simply go onto our website www.cathedralgreenwave.com.
If you have any questions, call Cathedral’s Development Office at 601-445-9844, or email this year’s chairperson Lauren Middleton lauren.middleton@unitedmsbk.com.
We hope to see you there.
Lauren Biglane Middleton is chairman, with co-chair Mary Margaret Edwards, of the 34th Annual Cathedral Crawfish Countdown.
