NATCHEZ — Services for Patricia Ann Tucker McNeil, 68, of Natchez, who died Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Merit Health Central in Jackson, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe W. Pickett officiating.   

Burial will follow at Mercy Seat Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home with a celebration of life wake service at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday from noon until service time at the church.

Mrs. McNeil was born Sept. 21, 1949, in Natchez, the daughter of Leroy “Mike” Tucker and Annie Laura Gales.

She was a recipient of an associate arts degree in marketing. She was also a licensed cosmetologist and a top sales Home Interior representative.

Patricia was a member of Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church and a former member of Mount Zion Baptist Church where she served as youth Sunday school teacher, director of the youth department and the mission ministry. She enjoyed reading.

Mrs. McNeil was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Verenzo C. McNeil; three brothers, Clarence Tucker, Leroy Tucker Jr., and Robert Lee Tucker; and one sister, Shelia Hess Minor.

Survivors include her husband, Lee Edward McNeil Sr.; one son, Lee Edward McNeil Jr.; three daughters, Rocha Jones and husband, Michael, Shannon Hooper and husband, Eric, and Adrian McNeil; six brothers, Lee Edgar Tucker and wife, Sarah, Archie L. Tucker and wife, Ruthie, Sylvester Tucker and wife, Rosie, Charles Hess, Gerald Hess and wife, LaRita, and Troy Wiley; two sisters, Victoria Renteria and Geraldine Cole; and a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
