Tornado watch for area extended to 6 a.m. Saturday

JACKSON — The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a tornado watch until 6 a.m. Saturday for the following locations in the Miss-Lou:

Adams, Claiborne, Franklin and Jefferson counties.

Catahoula, Concordia and Tensas parishes.

A tornado watch is issued when conditions are favorable for the development of tornadoes in and close to the watch area.
