NATCHEZ — Sheriff’s deputies arrested two men Wednesday for the alleged rape of a girl less than 14 years old.

Rodarius Davion Green, 18, and Sheldon Vashon Donald, 21, have both received charges of statutory rape: carnal knowledge of a child under 14.

Adams County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Lt. Cal Green reported that the charges stem from an investigation that began after a recent report filed at the sheriff’s office. The following investigation led to the discovery that the alleged victim of the assault was under the age of 14.

As of Thursday afternoon, Rodarius Green was being held on a $50,000 bond, while Donald had yet to receive a bond, the sheriff’s office reported.

Cal Green said no other information would be available at this time.
