Emily Rose Farmer and Andrew Taylor Moon, together with their families, are pleased to announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of the late Edward Roy Farmer Sr. and the late Terry Simmons Farmer of Natchez. She attended Adams County Christian School.

She is the granddaughter of Percy Simmons and the late Sallie Simmons and the late Herman and Loventrice Farmer, all of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is the son of Ricky and Cherry Moon of Hattiesburg. He is a graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School in Natchez and the University of Louisiana-Lafayette, where he received a degree in petroleum engineering.

He is the grandson of Martha Owens and the late Stanley Owens of Vidalia, Jerry and Julia Ann Moon of Roxie, the late Shirley Miller of Vidalia and the late Sylvia Ellard of Ferriday.

The wedding will be Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Brandon Hall Plantation in Natchez.
