NATCHEZ – Services for Rosetta Butler, 68, of Natchez, who died Saturday, March 31, 2018, at her residence, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with Bro. Timothy Morris officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Butler was born Aug. 6, 1949, the daughter of Curtis Caston and Sadie Alexander.
She was employed by JC Penney Department Store.
She enjoyed making jewelry and pies, sewing and enjoying her family.
Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, James Butler Jr.; four sons, John Butler and wife, Nancy, Rickey Butler and wife, Chanda, Jerry Butler and wife, Donna, and Curtis Butler and wife, Jessica; two daughters, Elouise and Priscilla Butler; 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; four brothers, James Alexander and wife, Margie, Tommy Alexander, Albert Alexander and Robert Alexander; and six sisters, Adeline Bell and husband, Bobby, Laura Caston and husband, Hollis, Mary Anne Prater, Hattie Green and husband, Willie, Shirley Alexander and husband, Bo, and Barbara Bates and husband, Andrew.
