KENTWOOD, La. — Services for Darren Keith Travis, 53, of Kentwood, La., who died Friday, March 30, 2018, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Taylor Creek Baptist Church in Kentwood with the Rev. Don Meadows officiating.

Burial will follow at New Zion Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Home in Gloster.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. today to service time Wednesday at the church.

Mr. Travis was born Oct. 24. 1964, in Liberty, the son of Oliver and Florine Travis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Dwayne Travis and Bobby Joe Travis; and one sister, Beverly McKee.

Survivors include his loving wife, Angela; one son, Oliver Travis and wife, Nikki, of Vidalia; three stepchildren, Krista Keller and husband, Justin, and Austin Taylor, all of Kentwood, and Ericka Taylor of Greenburg, La.; five grandchildren, Trae Wilson, Makynna Keller, Scott Keller, Annalee Keller and Brendon Broussard; three brothers, Glen Travis of Roseland, La., Kenneth Travis and wife, Connie, of Liberty, and Buddy Travis and wife, Delores, of Port Washington, Wis.; one sister, Deloris Holden and husband, Doyle, of Denham Springs, La.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Margaret Estes of Kentwood; and a number of nieces and nephews.
