Jesus Christ has lessons for us all

But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices which they had prepared.
And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they went in they did not find the body.
While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel; and as they were frightened, and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them,
“Why do you seek the living among the dead? Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, that the son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise.”
And they remembered his words and returning from the tomb they told all this to the 11 and all the rest.

Today, Easter Sunday, is the holiest day of the year for Christians. As we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter, we honor the mystery that is at the very center of our faith.
The deep faith that has guided civilization for more than 2,000 years continues to serve as a stabilizing force and a tremendous teaching tool for all of us.
Among Christ’s many lessons; He taught us humility; He taught us humanity; and he taught us the two most important things in life are to love God and love one another.
He also taught us about the grace of God, a grace that would allow His own son to die so that others could be saved.
No matter what faith you hold to today, all of us would do well to heed the lessons of Christ — not just on Easter, but every day of our lives.
