NATCHEZ — Police are investigating an incident from Saturday night on College Street that sent two individuals to the hospital, though details about the incident were scarce as of Sunday evening.

Natchez Police Department Capt. Scott Frye said officers responded to a call of shots fired at 415 College St. and that two individuals transported themselves to the hospital.

Frye said Sunday evening he had no other information to disclose at this time.

Though officers responded to a 911 call of shots fired, whether gunfire caused the injuries to those involved remains unclear, as does the extent of the injuries suffered.

Frye said no arrests had been made as of Sunday night as officers continued their investigation.
