The complete athlete: Positive attitudes flourish in 2nd2None championship

Numerous teams competed Saturday morning in championship games at McLaurin Elementary School for the chance at a 2nd2None Sports basketball title.

Win or lose, each team held on to the main focus of youth sports — fun.

With the young ones, coaches continued to encourage athletes to keep their spirits high. While some players ultimately ended up with the short end of the stick, each still received a trophy and were congratulated on their efforts and growth during the season.
