STAMPLEY — Services for Darlene Banks Carter, 61, of Flowood, who died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, at Women and Infant Clinic Wisner, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Stampley with the Rev. Lonnie Culbert officiating.   

Burial will follow at Rose Hill Baptist Church No. 1 Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Natchez chapel and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Carter was born June 30, 1956, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Atkins E. and Mary Anna Harper Banks.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leon Carter Sr.; and one brother, Jimmy E. Stander.

Survivors include three sons, Anthony Carter and wife, Kristina, Vincent Carter and Michael Carter and wife, Rebecca; two daughters, Julia Banks and Angela Carter; two sisters, Ruby Lee Tenner and Dorthy Rae Doss; one sister-in-law, Annie Ruth Stander; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
