LORMAN — Services for Walter Johnson Jr., 65, of Lorman, who died Monday, May 2, 2011, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Christian Church.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Johnson was born Sept. 19, 1945, in Claiborne County, the son of Walter Sr. and Bertha Garrison Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include a loving and devoted wife, Ruby King Johnson; four daughters, Stacey Johnson, Lula Johnson, Carolyn Dorsey and Joanna Heath; two sons, Walter Johnson III and Aaron Johnson; a special granddaughter, Kimberly LaShay Johnson; one sister, Della Johnson Simon; two brothers, Freddie Johnson and Jackie Johnson; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
