Mrs. Gail and Mr. Lonzie Beamon Sr. announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Brandy Nicole Beamon of New Orleans to Garrett Michael Jackson of Vidalia, son of Carl and Emma Jackson.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of McDonogh No. 35 High School in New Orleans and attended Southern University A&M College in New Orleans and Baton Rouge. She is employed by Jacobs in Baton Rouge.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dewitte Beamon and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lewis Jr.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and Southern University A&M College in Baton Rouge. He is employed by Louisiana State Police as a state trooper.

He is the grandson of the late Theresa Johnson, the late Annie Jackson Harris and the late Thomas Jackson.

The wedding will be 7 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2018, at The Lake House in Baton Rouge.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
