NATCHEZ — Natchez firefighters respond to a house fire in north Adams County at approximately 12:20 a.m. Sunday. When firefighters arrived at the scene on Mississippi 553 near the Natchez Trace Parkway in north Adams County, they found the structure engulfed in flames. According to neighbors, the house was apparently unoccupied. Unable to save the structure, firefighters monitored the blaze to make sure the fire did not spread. The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation.
