All too often we take for granted the local law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line to keep us safe. They go above and beyond the call of duty to be courteous and respectful.

The Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office, Vidalia City Police Department, Adams County Sheriff’s Office and the Natchez Police Department along with the Vidalia Fire Department deserve our support and respect.

On a personal note, the Louis Crooks and Bobby Byrnes families would like to thank each of those mentioned above for the escort of our loved one, Vicki Byrnes from Vidalia to Greenlawn Cemetery. The kindness and respect shown was greatly appreciated.

As stated before, we just don’t stop to consider that during our days and at night while we sleep, these officer are trying to make sure no harm comes to us. Let’s give them our full support and thank them for the job they perform each and every day.
