BUDE — Services for Benita Kay Hutson, 56, of Brookhaven, who died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018, in Brookhaven, will be 1 p.m. Monday at Bude First Baptist Church with the Rev. Rodney Jones and the Rev. Dr. Ralph Webber Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and from noon until service time Monday at the church.
Ms. Hutson was born March 27, 1961, in Natchez, the daughter of Edwin Ellard Hutson and Juanita Wray Hutson.
Benita was a member of Bude First Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and fellowshipping with her church family. She was a Godly woman who enjoyed shopping, spending time and traveling with family and friends, taking her kids and grandchildren camping, restaurant hopping and working with her adopted family at Puckett Machinery of Brookhaven and Flowood.
Ms. Hutson was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Brandon Tate Burnette; and one brother, Martin K. Probst.
Survivors include one son, Justin Bradley Burnette and wife, Annie, of Brookhaven; two daughters, Kyla Smith and husband, Trent, of Brookhaven, and Ashley Holmes and husband, Michael, of Meadville; two brothers, Bruce Probst and wife, Amy, of Mandeville, La., and Tommy Probst and wife, Cheryl, of Vidalia; daughter-in-law, Nikki Burnette of Vidalia; nine grandsons, Christopher Linder Burnette, Ashtin Castillo, Tiler Castillo, Devin Roberts, Ryder Burnette, Ruger Burnette, Logan Smith, Gage Burnette and Dillon Holmes; and six granddaughters, Brittanie Burnette, Kaylei Castillo, Analei Roberts, Lara Holmes, Rilyn Burnette and Roper Burnette.
Pallbearers will be Ashtin Castillo, Tiler Castillo, Devin Roberts, Christopher Linder Burnette, Lane Sasser and Steven Brumfield.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ryder Burnette, Logan Smith, Gage Burnette, Ruger Burnette and Dillon Holmes.
