NATCHEZ — Two local filmmakers are renting out a Natchez theater so area children get a chance to see the new movie “Black Panther.”
Inspired by actress Octavia Spencer’s similar act with a Jackson theater, director Tate Taylor and producer John Norris — who are currently filming a feature movie in Natchez — are renting out a theater for a 12:30 p.m. Saturday showing of the movie.
“(This will) give tickets to kids who might not normally get tickets to this movie to see a hero — an African-American hero,” Norris said.
Norris said anyone interested in getting tickets should visit the mayor’s office at Natchez City Hall.
