Both the Trinity Episcopal School basketball teams have advanced to the MAIS District 4-A Tournament Championship Game following first-round wins Thursday night at Rebul Academy.

The Lady Saints notched their victory over Discovery Christian School, 38-25.

Cate Drane led the way, scoring 15 points in the win. Cecile Croquet added another seven, while Addison Jackson and Ginny Borum each had six.

The varsity girls will play Wilkinson County Christian Academy for the district title at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

The Saints advance to their title game with a 72-20 win over Mount Salus.

Four Trinity players ended in double digits, led by Jakarius Caston with 18 points. Cedric Daniels added 16 of his own, while Christian Wright and Dee Fleming both ended with 10 points.

The boys championship game with be at 3:45 p.m. against WCCA.
