This is just a short note to say thanks to The Democrat newspaper carrier and the U.S. Postal Service for their great service during the extreme weather conditions this week. I live in the county and never missed a single paper or mail delivery. Also thanks to Entergy and Adams County Water Association for their great service. I don’t have gas service at my house but have not heard of anyone having any problems with Atmos. My C-Spire, telephone and CableOne service was also great during this time.

Not so for trash collection as I haven’t seen a garbage truck in over a week and we are paying for two pick-ups a week.

Just wanted to say thanks to all the service providers that went above and beyond in very hazardous conditions to accommodate their customers.
