NATCHEZ — Services for Milton Dobbins, 75, of Natchez, who died Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater St. James Baptist Church with the Rev. Dandridge Brooks officiating.   

Burial will follow at Elgin Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the Natchez chapel and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Dobbins was born May 21, 1942, in Natchez, the son of Joseph and Mary Dobbins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Sedrick Dobbins; two sisters, Susie Bell White and Lottie Rudd; and two brothers, Mack and Willie Dobbins.

Survivors include a loving and devoted wife, Georgia Dobbins; 10 children, Dwight Dobbins, Shanequa Dobbins, Jessie Henderson, Jeanette Derozan and husband, Junior, Milton Dobbins Jr. and wife, Elisha, Darnell Henderson and wife, Angie, Ples Dobbins, Danielle Spencer and husband, Cedric, Artie Henderson and LaSandra Dobbins; three sisters, Artemis Thomas, Mary Morrison and Helen Stidhum; two brothers, Charles Lee Dobbins and wife, Julia, and Roger Dobbins and wife, Mavis; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
