VIDALIA — Services for Charlie McGraw Jr., 73, of Vidalia, who died Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, at Capital House Nursing and Rehab in Baton Rouge, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephens Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Dixon officiating.
Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. McGraw was born Nov. 4, 1944, in Vidalia, the son of Charlie and Helen Reese McGraw.
He was a retired dozer operator.
Mr. McGraw was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy “Dot-Tee”; and two sisters, Mary Broadus and Annie Washington.
Survivors include two sons, Charlie McGraw III and wife, Stacy, of Clayton, and Gregory Baker and wife, Rhonshonda, of Chicago; two daughters, Yolanya McGraw and companion, Michael, of Baton Rouge, and Alicia Baker of Chicago; four brothers, Ted McGraw, Earl Byrd, Nathaniel McGraw and James Davis, all of Vidalia; six sisters, Laura Hayes of Ferriday, Evelyn McGraw, Helen Crumb, Cathy Givens and Mary Knight, all of Vidalia, and Pauline Goffner and husband, Willie, of New Orleans; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
