Winter weather Tuesday causes cancelation of athletic activities

Along with the closing of local schools Tuesday in the Miss-Lou, many athletic activities were also canceled.
Trinity Episcopal, Natchez High, Vidalia High, Jefferson County, Delta Charter and Block all canceled basketball games Tuesday night.
Natchez High, Cathedral and Vidalia also canceled soccer games Tuesday.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Trinity was searching for a date to reschedule both the girls and boys varsity basketball games at Rebul Academy as well as last Friday’s games at Discovery Christian School.
Natchez High was looking for a date to rescheduled Tuesday’s basketball games against Franklin County, but did not yet find a date as of Tuesday afternoon.
Vidalia’s basketball games scheduled for Tuesday at General Trass are tentatively rescheduled for Feb. 1, but were not confirmed as of Tuesday afternoon.
Jefferson County’s basketball games against Hazlehurst are tentatively rescheduled for Wednesday if road conditions have improved.
Delta Charter has rescheduled its basketball games at Cedar Creek for Monday.
Block’s basketball games scheduled for tonight at LaSalle have been tentatively rescheduled for Wednesday if road conditions have improved.
Natchez High was searching for a date to reschedule its girls and boys varsity soccer games at Brookhaven, but did not yet find a date as of Tuesday afternoon.
Vidalia has rescheduled its boys and girls soccer matches at Ouachita Christian for Jan. 30.
