Nicole Harris, staff curator at Historic Natchez Foundation, plants flowers in preparation for the Historic Natchez Foundation’s annual meeting. Harris said the meeting is a free event that will include food, drinks and a new art exhibit featuring the work of local artist Jamie Hudnall. The foundation will also hand out awards for achievements in historic preservation for 2017. The event will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18 and is open to the public.
