PALM COAST, Fla. — Helen Hepsie Brann Drane, 80, of Palm Coast, Fla., died Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, at Florida Hospital Flagler.

Mrs. Drane was born Aug. 7, 1937, in Natchez, the daughter of Milton and Helen Hayes Curry Brann.

She retired as an accountant for the Natchez-Adams County school board after a number of years. She moved to the Palm Coast area in 2000, from St. Cloud, Fla. She enjoyed art, especially stained glass, and reading. She was a member of the 99 Pilot Association in Natchez.

Mrs. Drane was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Winford Drane, who died March 23, 2015.

Survivors include three children, Donna Niemczyk and husband, Stan, of Marco Island, Fla., Rhonda Mager and husband, Jim, of Mount Airy, Ga., and Scotti Broom and husband, Clark, of Louisiana; one brother, Milton Brann and wife, Patricia, of Baton Rouge; three sisters, Claudia Lindsey and husband, Daryl, of Natchez, Evelyn Kinch and Beth Hodges; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
