NATCHEZ — Services for Bobby Lee McGuire, 79, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, at LaSalle General Hospital in Jena, La., will be 2 p.m. today at Marshall Funeral Home Natchez Chapel with the Rev. Rusty Blackwell officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mr. McGuire was born March 14, 1938, in Utica, the son of Fredrick Alexander McGuire and Jena Mae McGuire.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Opal McGuire; one son, Ronnie Thompson; one sister, Dorthy Leget; one brother, Fred McGuire; one granddaughter, Stephanie Eidt; and one great-grandson, Josh Eidt.

Survivors include three children, Barbara Wiley and husband, Shorty, Donnie Thompson and Beverly Lawler; one daughter-in-law, Polly Thompson; one sister, Penny Mcaled; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
