NATCHEZ — A single-vehicle wreck on Morgantown Road today led to one person’s death, Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten confirmed.

Patten said a single fatality occurred in the wreck. He said deputies were still working on the details of the wreck, but no one else appeared to be in the vehicle at the time of the incident.

As of 2 p.m., Patten said the sheriff’s office had not notified the individual’s family and that more information would be released once the family had been informed.
