NATCHEZ — An Adams County man was arrested Wednesday on an indictment for a June armed robbery.
Austin Tyler Crawford, 18, 25 Cloverdale Drive, was arrested in connection to the armed robbery of the Jack Mart convenience store on Lower Woodville Road.
The indictment lists Crawford, Austin Hammers, 17, 1225 Peach St., Vidalia, and Derrick Coleman, 39, 8 W. Woodlawn Ave., as the suspected armed robbers.
A report from the time said an “undisclosed amount of money” was stolen from the Jack Mart on June 25.
The indictment states that the three men used a deadly weapon to engender fear and rob the store.
Crawford was released on a $75,000 bond.
His court date is set for Dec. 18.
Hammers and Coleman have not yet been arrested on their indictments.
Hammers was just arrested last week on charges of stop sign violation, general speeding violation, resisting an officer and aggravated flight from an officer.
Coleman was also arrested last month on charges of possession of schedule I marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of schedule II crack cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers reportedly found approximately 2 grams of crack cocaine, 15 ounces of marijuana, $1,660 in cash and digital scales at Coleman’s residence, which shares a property line with St. Peter’s Baptist Church.
All charges were subject to a church zone enhancement.
