Classes in session for WCCA students

WOODVILLE — The 2009-2010 school year began with excitement and anticipation as teachers and administrators welcomed students back to the classroom at Wilkinson County Christian School
Fourth-grade teacher Crystal Mudd was also welcomed to the staff at WCCA.
The first Lady Rams softball game was Aug. 10 against Central Private. The season began with a victory under the leadership of WCCA coaches Ray Olive and Kelly Fuller.
Meet the Rams night was Aug. 18, and players, auxiliary members and coaches were introduced to fans.
WCCA will be participating in “First for furry friends” to support the Natchez-Adams Humane Society.
There are a small number of yearbooks available for purchase in the school office or by contacting Judy Trevillion in the library.
Amber Smith was chosen to be the mascot for the school year.
Junior class officers were recently elected. They are Shannon Sessions, president; Lily Smith, vice president; Bethan Fletcher, secretary; Jade Pribbernow, reporter and Taylor Littleton, treasurer.

Aug. 20 — Rams softball at 4 p.m. at ACCS.
Aug. 21 — Rams football at 8 p.m. against CHEF.
Aug. 22 — Rams softball at Silliman.
Aug. 24 — Rams softball at 4 p.m. at Central Private.
Aug. 25 — School day pictures will be taken.
Aug. 28 — Rams football at 8 p.m., against Bens Ford.
