FERRIDAY — Funeral services for Charles Lee Webb Sr., 80, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017, in Ferriday, will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Ferriday First Baptist Church with Josh Morea officiating.
Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery in Sicily Island under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.
Charles Lee Webb Sr. was born on Friday, April 23, 1937, in New Orleans, the son of Earl Lee and Regina Mabou Webb. He was a member and deacon of Ferriday First Baptist Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge #305 in Vidalia, LA. Charles retired from the Exxon Pipe Line and returned to Concordia Parish to do what he enjoyed: hunt and fish. He also loved golf and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Gerald and Shannon Webb; and one sister, Alice Parker.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jane Carter Webb, of Ferriday; one daughter, Elizabeth Sue Grasser and husband, Doug, of Mesa, Ariz.; three sons, Charles Lee Webb Jr. and wife, JoAnne, of Los Angeles, Glenn Edward Webb and wife, Dale, of Greenwell Springs, La., and William Kyle Webb and wife, Staci, of Plaquemine, La.; nine grandsons, Ryan, Shane and Heath Jordan, Brady, Conner, Brad, Matthew and Logan Webb, and Dustin Joiner; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be the deacons of Ferriday First Baptist Church.
