Laci Renee Jamison and Justin Matthew Reed of Hammond, La., were married Saturday, March 19, 2011, at 6 p.m., at Historic Michabelle Inn with the Rev. Chad Presley officiating.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Jamison Jr. of Hammond. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Reed also of Hammond.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. A.G. Atkinson of Natchez and the late Mr. and Mrs. Patrick L. Jamison Sr. of Union Church. Grandparents of the groom are Mrs. Florence Matthews and the late Mr. Edward Matthews of Hammond and the late Mr. and Mrs. Haskel Gilmore of McAlister, Okla.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Mr. Patrick Jamison Jr. She wore a floor-length strapless A-line gown of white taffeta; the bodice overlay of beaded re-embroidered lace with silver accents featured an inverted V-empire and softly laced in back; and the skirt was accentuated with multiple pickups and finished with a full sweep train. She wore an elegant, one-tier chapel-length veil of tulle.
Emma Sprouse of Hammond served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Alyx Atkinson, cousin of the bride, of Natchez, Laurie Watt and Emily Locicero, both of Hammond. They wore full-length ball gowns of rich watermelon satin with classic strapless neckline and ruched on each side falling into a simple A-line silhouette.
Jason Reed, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jeremy Watt, Justin Bowles and Justin Skinner, all of Hammond.
Hope Michelle Adams, goddaughter of the bride, served as flower girl.
Jack Reed, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer.
Ushers were Ryan and Chase Jamison, brothers of the bride, of Hammond and Jake Atkinson of Marion, Ark., cousin of the bride.
Ryan Jamison is the bride’s twin.
A reception was held at the Glass Ball Room at Michabelle Inn.
After a wedding trip to exotic western Caribbean, the couple will live in Ponchatoula, La.
