NATCHEZ — Adams County Sheriff’s Office deputies seized weapons, drugs and approximately $45,000 in cash early Thursday morning from two individuals during a narcotics search.
The office’s special operations group executed the search warrant at 5 Hummingbird Lane, arresting Larry Allen and Donalyn Le on charges of possession of schedule I marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a weapon with enhancement and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Allen, who is reportedly still on probation for drug charges in Louisiana, received an additional charge of being a convicted felon in possession of a weapon.
Sheriff Travis Patten said Le’s name was also on the leasing agreement for a separate residence at which deputies and Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics officers earlier this year seized 10 pounds of high-grade marijuana. Le was allegedly renting that apartment for another individual, who was arrested at the time.
Thursday’s search reportedly yielded 130 grams of high-grade marijuana, two loaded handguns, $45,009 in currency, two vehicles, packaging materials and two sets of digital scales.
The case remains ongoing, and additional arrests are possible, Patten said.
Patten said Allen and Le are being held on a $10,000 and $5,000 bond, respectively.
